Church-School Partnerships
Shine equips churches to DEVELOP a long-term, committed relationship with a Title-1 school in their neighborhood.
Schools Experience
Student Enrichment
Shine seeks to enhance a student’s academic experience by providing volunteers and resources that can improve the quality of the student’s education. Providing volunteers who spend time reading with a student is an example of student enrichment.
Family Development
Shine believes in families. We are passionate about bringing to light the strengths, talents, and gifts of each parent in a school. We seek to grow authentic relationships with families that allow people to see their worth and better achieve their goals.
Teacher Support
Shine supports teachers by providing encouragement and volunteer support. We provide manpower and resources to assist them in getting their jobs done. We value what they do and we encourage them to continue making a difference in the lives of students.

We believe the local church is uniquely resourced to love and serve their community.
Although church partners come from a faith-based background, Shine is not a proselytizing program. Our partners focus on loving their neighbor through relationships and service.
LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO DEVELOP A PARTNERSHIP IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
